I have a marquise cut diamond ring with three layers of diamonds and a layer of gold accents. It is white gold except for the gold accents. Its a very very pretty ring but I am wondering what the stamp on the inside means. It says 14K LSC 2 7. I know that 14k is the gold karats, and 7 is the size. From research I’ve done I’m pretty positive that LSC means its a leo, but I can’t figure out what the 2 means. If anyone knows or can point me in the right direction I’d really appreciate it!!!
The 7 is definitely the size…it says LSC2 and there is a definite space then is says 7. I have found where other rings have said LSC1 and LSC3. I don’t actually know where the ring was originally bought at. Could any jeweler tell me?

Since the Leo diamond’s marketing focuses on its brilliance and low number of inclusions, the LSC code is a patented code for ranking the clarity of the diamonds that have been cut by the Leo Schacter designers.
LSC most likely stands for Leo Schacter Clarity and the number 1, 2, 3 tells you how brilliant it is on the Leo scale. I wasn’t able to discover if 1 was the most brilliant or if it is the least brilliant on the Leo scale. And they are pretty hush hush on codes on their official site.
your best bet would be to contact the jeweler who sold you your ring or an authorized Leo dealer and talk to them about it.
Congrats BTW.
IT is not the diamond clarity. that is engraved in the diamond but you cant see it with out like insaine magnification. it could just be part of the Leo telling the creator what style ring it is? but other than that I am not sure. My ring says 10k HDS lol its 10k white gold. my fav. So I am not sure about the 2. but i think its just part of the LSC leo part.
well my ring has mhj-9ct witch stands for micheal hill jewellers and the ring is 9 carrots and on the other side it had 25 and the 25 means 0.25 carrots of diamonds but if that doesn’t help i recommend going to the jeweller that you got your ring from and ask them but make sure you go to the jeweller that you got it from because theay all have different cods…. good luck in finding out what it means.. :)… have a happy and beautiful wedding an life..
This might stand for the rating of the diamond. There is four aspects to diamond rating: cut, color, clarity, and carat. Google the term diamond rating or the four c’s to do your own research. The 2 might stand for the diamond weight. This might also stand for the manufacture code. Sometimes they can be found on the ring in order to trace it back to the manufacturer.
14k karat leo schacter 27 points or 0.27 carat
quarter carat stone
it could be the person that made it or a brand. I would ask the people at the store you bought it from
a Jeweler might be able to answer this for sure.
