The lever is no longer working, I can only assume the cable has snapped. Any idea’s how much this costs to repair?
How do I reattach?

Being a ford i would say its seized up. Just as a secondary idea try getting an assistant to hold the lever open while banging the bonnet. if it does open you need to get the catch lubricated. The bonnet cable normally snaps just next to the catch unfortunately, it is subjected to harsh conditions with water and dirt from the front and heat of the exhaust drying it out. Any way the biggest job is going to be getting the bonnet open again, fitting the new cable is a simple enough job for a garage. Although they will probably charge you an hour and a half labour and the cable about £25

Yeah, you should fix that or it will be hard for you to open the bonnet

CHECK TO SEE IF HANDLE IS NO LONGER ATTACHED TO CABLE –IF SO –SEE IF YOU CAN REATTACH..CHECK TO SEE IF STILL ATTACHED TO HOOD RELEASE.
