i was wondering how are you suppose to wear you knee brace when you are wearing pants.
braces are intended to be worn next to the skin;; there are certain types of braces that come with a cloth sleeve so the parts of the brace do not irritate your skin;; there are no reasons to wear it on the outside unless you want your pants to pleat into your skin & cause even more swelling than you are getting from the cause of the brace anyway…it’s the inside…
Outside. Im definitely sure. I had a knee brace for three months one year and three months the next year. Lots of experience with this. If your pants are “baggy” lose on you such as a dress pant or something then you may be able to wear it under our pants, other then that outside is much more comfortable, and better looking. Hope I was of some help. 🙂
It really does depend on what you wear. When i wear tight pants or leggings(to bed) i wear it on the outside. With regular(not skinny) jeans it is a little uncomfortable and the excess jean material leaves indentations on my skin, which stay on for the rest of the day.
I recommend wearing it over tight pants, because the tight pants make the knee feel better too.
You can wear them over the pants if the pants are a thin fabric but if you wear jeans or thick sweat pants you should really wear it against the skin.
Outside especially if you are wearing capris, leggings, skinny jeans. Otherwise if you wear flared or bootcut jeans put it on the inside.
if you have to wear a brace wear it where it feels most comfortable no matter what people think
Inside. Well thats what most people do.
outside, because if you wear it inside, people will see a big lump and be like ..uh…
so yea wear it outside.
what about if your wearing leggings?
