    Seeing the HH Pizza Bake item is no longer for sale, the second recipe will help by not using HH at all! Good luck 🙂

    “you put the seasoned hamburger in the pan and then pour on like a cornbread batter on top and then bake it. When it was done you scooped it out and put sour cream and lettuce and tomatoes on it or whatever you wanted tasted like a taco! Same thing with the pizza one.We had it about once a week in the 80’s it was my favorite dinner!!!!”

    “Pizza Bake

    * 1 pound of ground beef, chuck, or turkey

    * 1 small can seasoned tomato sauce (or cheap pizza sauce)

    * 1 pound of your favorite pasta

    * 1 cup mozzarella cheese

    Brown and drain ground meat. Prepare pasta according to package directions and mix with tomato sauce. Stir in ground meat and pour into a casserole dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with oregano or Parmesan cheese if desired. Bake at 350 until cheese is melted. Serve with house brand canned biscuits. “

    you put the seasoned hamburger in a oven proof dish and then pour cornbread batter on top and then bake it. When it was done you scoop it out and put sour cream and lettuce and tomatoes on it or whatever you want (like a taco) Cornbread Batter: 2 cups self rising cornmeal 1 can (10 oz) cream style corn 2 eggs well beaten 1/2 cup oil 2 tsp sugar (if desired) 1 cup milk (may add more milk to make batter right) (not to thick or not to thin)about like cake batter Mix together corn meal, eggs, milk, sugar, cream style corn and oil. set aside. This is your batter. Cooking time : Bake in a 350* oven for about 45 to 50 min. or until brown. Let set a few minutes before cuting and serving.

    Hamburger Helper Pizza Bake had a thin bottom crust and used lasagna noodles. I would suggest to try Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust as the bottom layer and the cook the lasagna noodles before placing and laying them on top of the crust. Then just layer pizza sauce and hamburger meat mixture until out of noodles and top with mozzarella cheese. enjoy!
