That sounds like some “Devil Dog” special effects that one might see in a horror movie. No…AFAIK, Huskies’ eyes are always blue, even when they’re angry. A better sign of anger would be ears laid back, snarling, bared fangs, etc.

I had a husky mix who’s eyes would turn red when she was mad or upset- best explanation I got was that her blood pressure would rise and the extra blood flow would create the reddish appearance to the eyes.

doesnt happen with all huskies tho.

and no, huskies eyes are NOT “always blue”.. they can be brown, amber, blue, or green. One eye can be one color and the other eye can be another color. One eye can even have 2 colors in it.

I have recently acquired a Husky, have never had one before. I have to tell you it is on of the freakiest things I have ever seen. Suddenly the blue is gone and it is replaced by a red glow, like you might see in a snapshot. Only last a few seconds, but it will raise the hair on your neck! I haven t been able to find a good answer.

No, they have not discovered any animals that do that. Unless it is in a movie, then it might because of the special effects.
