  I assume you mean hedge funds as an employer. Every company is different, and their hiring policies are all different. If, however, you’re concerned about it, then maybe you should clean up your act. That way it’s not a concern whether an employer tests or not.

  Yes but if you went through years of college to get a job at a hedge fund You must be pretty stupid to blow that all for getting high.

  Yes. Anyone who wishes to invest in a “hedge fund” must first pass a drug test to prove their judgement is not chemically-impaired.

  Um…hedge funds are a type of investment. They don’t employ people and they wouldn’t drug test.

  Hedge funds do employ people and they do drug test! As do investment banks and most brokerage houses.
