Command prompt command to run a CD-ROM.?

Trying to run a disc that wont pop up anywhere. What is the command that I type in the command prompt to load it. Its a installation of a game.

    If your CD drive doesn’t appear in “My Computer” there maybe something wrong with it, or its driver. Other wise, in a Command.com box, type

    G:setup or G:autorun (assuming G: is the drive letter of your CD drive, substitute the correct one if not)

    D:/setup.exe is the correct command
