I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. On my radio dash board I have a CD/Aux button. I can easily put in my CD and it plays but I don’t know how to switch from CD to Aux because its on one button. I also don’t know which outlet to plug my phone in. There is one inside my little compartment next to me and there’s one on the outside. Please help me this is getting so frustrating!

The same GM radio was use in the pontiac minivan, the CD AUX button was to be use with the factory DVD player
There is a way to input audio you need the auxiliary audio input interface for GM Pontiac radios, you need to have a BAND button next to the cd/aux not compatible with the am/fm button
Pontiac aux adapter

Try this: When you want the AUX function, just press the CD/AUX button again. Maybe this button “toggles”
the radio unit back and forth from the CD to AUX and back again.
Make sure it is a factory installed 2005 Pontiac radio unit that you have? If not, you will need the operating instructions for the unit you have. Sometimes you may download users’ manuals from the internet. Good
Luck.
Any Auto Radio shop should be able to point them out to you, for standard hourly rates of service. Likewise Pontiac dealers if they still exist. Or ask Pontiac Division customer service in Detriot by e-mail. Presume your Owner’s Manual got lost.
You are talking about the 12v cigarette outlets right? The 05 GP doesn’t have a 3.5mm aux input. Here is the owners manual. http://www.manualowl.com/am/Pontiac/2005-Grand%20P…
You need one of these: http://www.autosoundcentral.com/PIE_GM12_AUXV2_Aux…
and one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-3-5mm-Male-2-Mal…
Do you have an owners manual in the glove box. I don’t know if they were designed to plug phones into them. Head phones it probably doesn’t matter which one.
