    Yes. Two things, though.

    1) Celery has very little nutrition to it and is made up of a lot of water. So it won’t do for a long time.

    2) It needs to be cut up very small, roughly half the size of the turtles head to be safe.

It won’t harm your turtle. But it’s more of a filler and does not do much for you turtle. Romaine lettuce, Green leaf lettuce, and red leaf lettuce is the best to give. No iceburg it’s the same thing with the celery.

I have a box turtle and we usually feed him every 2 or 3 days.. I basically just give him a bowl full of boiled egg, kiwi (which BTW! I recommend… he LOVES it!) and blueberries (also a plus!) but I try to mix it up every time so that he doesn’t get tired of eating the same thing. There is no particular reason for your turtle that he wouldn’t like strawberries, maybe he just doesn’t enjoy the taste? Mine is like that with tomatoes.. maybe it’s too acidic. My turtle sounds EXACTLY like yours! Eager to move, and loves to climb over everything :p I have plastic paint tray as his water dish and I put some rocks and plant in there, and he loves to climb over it! I also have a huge mound of dirt right beside his log he sleeps under and he likes to climb on top of his log! (His idea, not mine!) 🙂 Good luck with your lil’ buddy!
