I am planning to buy Microwave Owen Solo without Grill Function i wanna know can i bake Cake like Bake cakes like “Black Forest” in that.

Hi, the best stting for cake is convection but if you have a solo oven you can make the cake batter rise to its size but there will be no even and crisp browning on the top, which is done by grill wheread Convection is a slow process which cooks and bakes the cake evenly giving a light browninh overall. So bake it in conv or grill but if no option raise it in micro and give a browning on gas.
I have one with a grill setting, but I’ve managed to bake a few cakes without it on. So yes, you can bake a simple cake in a microwave without a grill setting!

grilling is only used for dry heating a surface … , say toasting a bread slice , or browning the cooked cake …
( just make sure to give the right amount of time to the batter , meaning dont overdo it , else the cake would dry up and would not taste that soft and succulent as it should … )
