Can you wear sunglasses during the school day? And why or why not.

You can’t wear sunglasses in the classroom, it’s rude when you’re supposed to be paying attention to the teacher and so they don’t like it. But my son wears contacts and has light sensitive eyes like his mom, so he wears sunglasses outside. If you like RayBans, you should have the lenses changed to polycarbonate (lightweight very strong plastic) because the lenses are glass and it isn’t safe for school with sports and all. Maybe some come with poly already, but the pairs my son has were all originally glass.
If your school doesn’t allow sunglasses, you might want to ask about Transitions, they turn from clear to dark in the sun. Maybe they’d consider that more medical since they look like regular glasses inside. Who knows. My son has a pair (no prescription, just to wear over contacts) and they darken very quickly. But they aren’t good for driving, because they won’t darken in the car, the windshield prevents that.
Never had a problem with my son wearing Transitions or sunglasses to his private K – 8 (even with strict uniform policy) or his private high school (no uniform).
There’s this girl that everyone talks about, she’s in my year, her name’s Daisy. I’ve never talked to her but apparently she has a gorgeous accent and I don’t know what her accent is. I don’t think this girl is friends with everyone but everyone has heard of her name. Daisy is 13 and she’s known for going out with a 15 or 16 year old. Her style isn’t OUT THERE so I’m not sure if she’s a cool kid or just a everybody knows me kid.
I don’t think you can, cause some people just try to hide behind them, and some teachers find it uncomfortable, because they can’t know if you’re staring at them or if you’re doing work… !
Some people also wear them to hide black eyes and teachers realize these students were being hit by their parents, weird stuff like that.
Your not allowed to wear in school during class =)))))
I wasn’t allowed to but I did anyway. The fluorescent lights gave me terrible headaches, and the teachers left me alone because they knew I really didn’t care what they did about it.
I don’t know. You’d have to check your school’s rules. I would think that you couldn’t wear them in the classroom though.
Depends on the school
I doubt you can wear them in the classroom, but I am sure if you had to wear them for medical reasons it would be okay…
You can wear them between classes, but if you’re inside you’ll just look like an idiot.
It depends on your schools policy. My school don’t allow them as they have a really strict uniform policy.
