She’ll be just fine. When we had our first kitty we would giver her what ever we were eating at the time. Of course she had her favorites. If she didn’t like it she would simply walk away. She liked (all foods were cooked) chicken, pork chops, beef and would beg for other things just to give it a try. She was quite the beggar. Small little portions would satisfy her. When she didn’t want any more she just walked away and took a bath to clean her face. If you don’t want her to have Doritos make sure the bag is closed that she can’t get at them. If you gave her a little bit, that isn’t going to hurt her at all. I wouldn’t suggest the spicy kind. Most likely you kitty was enjoy the salt more than the Doritos them selves. Relax, put your feet up and eat your Doritos. If kitty insists on sharing then crush up and give kitty a little. Other wise don’t worry about it. Out cat liked to lick potato chips. She liked the salt.

    Rather not.

Onions, MSG, yeast extract, all those are so not good for your cat. Sure kitty won’t fall over, but they may cause serious problems down the line that will be very costly to fix, anemia being one of them, liver and kidney weakness etc.

Rather you eat the Doritos and get him some cat snacks.

My cat likes Doritos too. She’s 15 years old and running on one kidney (totally unrelated to her diet) and they don’t make her sick at all. She also likes corn on the cob and biscuits. I guess cats are like people and need a little variety- they have taste buds too. Just don’t overdo it – ” everything in moderation “! Oh yeah- her mother had a thing for little white doughnuts and lived for 14 years before being murdered by a neighbor’s dog. Just remember to love him while you have the chance and let him have a treat every now and then.

You probably should not share your aspirin with him though- that is poisonous to cats!

You need to ignore kitty when you eat chips – put him in a room or go to an isolated location when you’re eating them. Human food can be toxic to pets, and on top of that, chips risk the chance of your cat choking or hurting his esophogus.

If you don’t want to lock the kitty up or go to an isolated area, keep a water bottle with you and spray him with water when he tries to interfere. He’ll soon learn to stop bugging you for people food. You’ve GOT to ignore him when he begs!

You should never give cats human food, they’ll get a taste for it really quick.

If he begs, try a squirt bottle and firmly saying no. Or put him into another room.

Another way is to distract him with his favorite toy.

its not a good idea to feed him doritos because he will end up getting sick if he eats to many.

If he constantly bothers you when your eating, just have some kitty treats closeby and feed him those, when he is satisfied, he’ll leave you alone.

Don’t give them to him. First off, they provide zero nutritional value to him, secondly they’ll probably upset his digestive system and thirdly animals shouldn’t eat people food – especially junk food. If you had a child and it kept bugging you to play with the lighter – would you just hand it to him?
