    99.

2-55 can be thought of a 2 and then a matching tens and ones place 3 digits higher.

6-xx then, can be thought of as the x being 3 tens and 3 ones higher than 6, ant that’ 6-99, making 99 the answer.

99 because there is a difference of 3 between 2 and 5. So, there has to be a difference of 3 between the others. So, 9-6=3!!

    2-55

    or

    2+4- 5+4, 5+4

    or

    6-99

    so the answer is 99

2 : 55 => add all digits and result is 12 , do the same for 6 : all answers and you will get 33 as the correct answer as result matches to 12.

so If i treat the black box function as taking 2 input numbers to add and produce a result of 12 [ sum of their digits ] then it will solve the problem unambiguously. I.e only one answer will fit the solution which is good 🙂

    99

Just as ‘tin_knocker_al’ told, you may see that figure ‘5’ is almost rotated form of figure ‘2’ (it is exactly in 7-segments display). So we must rotate the figure ‘6’ to get ‘9’.
