ok if a skull of a cattle WITHOUT HORNS IS KEPT in front of you ,how can you differentiate that it is a skull of a cow or buffalo!please mention the anatomical differences.
Cow Skull Anatomy
There is a big price difference. Where I live you can get regular hamburger for about 2 bucks a pound. Ground Buffalo meat will set you back about three times as much at 6 bucks a pound. Buffalo meat however is leaner at 98% fat free and even the ground kind will taste like steak. Don’t over cook it or it will be very dry because of the low fat content.
Bison have a particular horn shape; so do African and Asian buffalo, gaur, etc. Domestic cows/bulls have no horns or a typical type of horn. From teeth or skull bones, however, I don’t think there is any way to distinguish.
